WARRANTY & DEFECT POLICY

This Warranty & Defect Policy applies to all wrestling shoes sold under Funky Flickr Boyz, Nidrogen, and Wrestle Boutique (“we,” “our,” “us”). This policy covers manufacturer defects only and is separate from our Returns & Exchanges Policy.


1. Full-Season Guarantee (120 Days)

All wrestling shoes purchased from funkyflickrboyzgear.com are covered by a Full-Season Guarantee, defined as:

120 consecutive days from the date the product is delivered (according to carrier tracking).

This period reflects the average length of a U.S. high school wrestling season.


2. What Is Covered Under the Full-Season Guarantee

Our warranty covers true manufacturing defects, including:

  • Outsole separation due solely to adhesive or bonding failure

  • Seam or stitching failure caused by defective thread

  • Lace loop or eyelet tearing out under normal use

  • Tongue detaching at the base

  • Shoes arriving with structural damage or deformation due to manufacturing

  • Incorrect item received

Defects must occur within the 120-day guarantee window.


3. What Is NOT Covered

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

Normal Wear & Tear

  • Toe drag holes

  • Mat burn, abrasions, or friction damage

  • Outsole wear from regular use

  • Creasing, stretching, or broken-in materials

  • Odors, sweat damage, or moisture exposure

  • Color fading from use

  • Loose or excess stitching that does not affect structural integrity

Damage from Misuse or Improper Care

  • Damage caused by yanking or pulling the shoe improperly

  • Cleaning damage (washing machines, heat, chemicals, etc.)

  • Outdoor or concrete use

  • Pet damage

  • Altering or modifying the product

Non-defect Issues

  • Fit, sizing, or comfort complaints

  • Cosmetic imperfections that do not impact performance


4. Shoes Arriving With a Noticeable Defect (Out-of-Box Defects)

If your shoes arrive with a defect present upon delivery, you must:

  • Report the issue within 5 days of delivery

  • Ensure the shoes are unworn

  • Provide the following photos:

    • The defect

    • The soles (to confirm unworn condition)

    • The interior size/production label

    • The shoe box and packaging

If approved, you will receive a replacement pair OR a store credit for the full order amount.
We cover all shipping costs for approved out-of-box defects.


5. Warranty Claims for Defects During the Season

If a defect occurs during normal use within the 120-day guarantee period:

  • Warranty covers one replacement pair per original purchase

  • Refunds are not available for worn shoes

  • If your exact size/color is unavailable, a similar or updated model may be substituted

  • We cover all shipping costs for approved warranty claims


6. How to File a Warranty Claim

Email all warranty claims to:

Include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Detailed description of the issue

  • Photos of the defect

  • Photos of the soles

  • Photos of the interior size/production label

  • Photos of the packaging

We may request that the product be shipped to us for inspection.

Claim decisions are typically made within 7–10 business days after receiving the product.


7. Warranty Denial Conditions

We reserve the right to deny warranty coverage if:

  • Wear and damage are inconsistent with the claimed defect

  • The product shows signs of misuse, improper care, or outdoor use

  • Damage appears to be caused by mat burn, drag, or abrasion

  • Soles show heavy wear or outdoor damage

  • The product was purchased from an unauthorized seller

  • Insufficient photos are provided

If denied, the item will be returned to the customer.


8. Acceptance of This Policy

By purchasing from funkyflickrboyzgear.com, the customer agrees to this Warranty & Defect Policy and understands that all defect claims must follow the terms outlined above.
